Recorded in the bucolic White Mountains of NH during the band's final studio prep session before diving into LP2 recording, "Boneloader" should be familiar to diehard fans of wbtw's live shows. An unruly and rollicking jam vehicle, the song is a showcase of the years the band have spent playing together and organically forming something out of nothing. What you hear was recorded in a single live take with minimal overdubbing and editing for length and clarity.

Add to that a fun remix of "Fire Season" off of the self-titled album and you have a nice little package before the band retreats into album production mode for the coming year.

I didn't think I would like this record but it's so infectious in its ability to change from prog to post rock then to psychedelic and onwards into alternative metal. Such an amazing feat to introduce the saxophone and it sounds so cool, this record is outstanding. Darknight
